    NESPAK was established in 1973 as a private limited company by the Government of Pakistan. The objective of its creation was to create a pool of talented engineers, attain self-reliance in engineering consultancy and replace foreign consultants..

    Currently NESPAK has total strength of over 4700 employees.

    The total estimated turnover for the year 2022-2023 was Rs. 11.01 billion whereas the total cumulative cost of the projects undertaken by NESPAK is US $ 338 billion.

    NESPAK carried out 3,751 local projects, out of which 440 are ongoing and 3,311 are completed, costing US$ 282 billion.


    NESPAK carried out projects in many other parts of the world. A total of 561 projects costing US$ 48 billion have been undertaken by NESPAK in almost 38 different countries. NESPAK Foreign Offices are in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Afghanistan, Qatar.

The Company is managed by a Board of Directors comprising a Chairman, a Managing Director and 11 other Directors. The day-to-day functions of the Company are looked after by the Managing Director assisted by Vice Presidents and Division Heads. Various divisions headed by Vice Presidents/General Managers are broadly divided into project management and specialty groups.

NESPAK, having expertise in almost all engineering disciplines, specializes in the fields of power and mechanical; water and agriculture; architecture and planning; highways, bridges, airports and seaports; environmental and public health engineering; engineering for industry; Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning (HVAC); Information Technology (IT) and Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
